harvest ham supper

Sorry no pic for this recipe but it is so fast to prep and taste so good.



What you need:
6 carrots sliced in half lengthwaise
3 sweet potatoes sliced in half lengthwaise
11/2 pounds bonless ham
1 cup maple syrup


place carrots and potatoes in bottom of slow cooker to form a rack place ham on top of vegtables pour syrup over ham and vegtables. Cover cook on low 6 to 8 hours

Slow cooker Chicken and Rice




You need:

3 cans condensed cream of chicken soup undiluted
2 cups uncooked instant rice
1 cup water
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast or chickn breast tenders
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon parprika
1/2 cup iced celery

Combine soup,rice and water in slow cooker. Add chicken sprinkle with salt,pepper and parprika. Sprinkle celery evenly over chicken. Cover cook on high 3 to 4 hours.

Twice as nice almond cookies

All i can say is theese came out really good and tasty.







you need:
1 package (15 ounces) sugar cookie mix
1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
1 cup chopped sliced almonds


Prepare cookie mix as directed on package stiring in pure almond extract. Shape dough into balls. Roll in almonds.Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.Bake and cool as directed on package

B B Q Potatoes

Theese are so yummy


you need:

4 medium red potatoes cut into 3/4 inch cubes
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons grill mates bbq seasoning
1 large onion



Toss potatoes with oil in large bowl add bbq seasoning toss to coat evenly.

Place potatoes on large wide sheet of heavy duty foil place onions evenly on top of potatoes bring up foil sides double fold top and ends to tightly seal packet.

Grill over medium high heat 30 to 35 mins or untill potatoes are tender turning packet halfway through cooking time.

Zesty Herb Citrus Chicken

This recipe can be made with lemon lime or orange i did lemon.



you need:

1 package grill mates zesty herb
1 teaspoon finely grated lemon lime or orange peel
1/4 cup lemon lime or orange juice
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup water
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast halves or thighs ( i did breast )


Mix marinade mix, lemon peel/ lemon juice, oil and water in small bowl.Place chicken in large glass dish add marinade turn to coat well.

refrigerate 15 mins or longer for extra flavor. Remove chicken from marinade.Discard any remaining marinade.

Grill over medium high heat 6 to 8 mins per side or untill chicken is cooked through turning frequently


makes 8 servings

Homestyle Pork Chops

you need:
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 bone in pork chops
1 tablespoon olive oil



Mix paprika,thyme leaves,salt and ground black pepper in small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of pork chops.

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add pork chops cook 4 mins per side


makes 4 servings

Weeknight pepper steak

 ok i do not have a pic for this one but i made it to perfection and it taste delicious



you need;

1 package brown gravy mix
3/4 cup cold water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1 pound boneless beef sirloin or flank steak
cut into thin strips
1 small onion
cut into thin wedges
1 medium green and red pepper
cut into thin strips


mix brown gravy mix,water,soy sauce and ground red pepper untill well blended


heat oil in large skillet on medium high heat. Add steak cook and stir 2 mins or until no longer pink stir in gravy mixture onion and bell pepper.

bring to boil reduce heat to low simmer 6 to 8 mins or until sauce is thickend stiring occasionally serve over rice

Oven Fried Chicken

VERY FAST GOOD RECIPE
YOU NEED;


1/4 cup flour
11/2 teaspoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
11/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken brest halves
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter, melted


Spay 15x10x1 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray

Mix flour, salt,oregano,and ground pepper on large plate. Moisten chicken with milk. Coat evenly with flour mixture. Place chicken in single layer.

Bake in preheated 425F oven 15 to 20 mins


FOR THE SIDES WITH THIS I HAD SALAD AND STUFFING BUT YOU CAN DO OTHER THINGS AS WEEL ENJOY ;)

Very Vanila Fruit Salad

Very easy to make
you need:

2 cups strawberries ,halved

1 cup blueberries

1 cup fresh or canned pinapple chunks

1 cup cantaulope chunks

2 kewis, peeled and sliced

1/4 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract



Mix fruit, powdered sugar and pure vanilla extract in large bowl. Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve

Classic Peanut butter and milk chocolate chip cookies made with weed butter

you need:
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup Hershey's milk chocolate chips 
1 teaspoon baking soda 
1 cup (2 sticks) weed butter softened 
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup resses peanut butter chips






Heat oven to 375F Stir together flour,baking soda and salt. Beat butter sugar brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl mix until creamy. Add eggs beat well.Gradually add flour mixture beating well. Stir in milk chocolate chips and peanut butter chips drop rounded teaspoons onto ungressed cookie sheet bake 8 to 10 mins

Cranberry Orange Bread




Prep Time:  25 mins
Cook Time: 35 mins


                    You Need:
                2 Cups flour
                1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
                1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
                 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
                1/2 teaspoon salt
                1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
                 1/2 cup(51/2 tablespoons) butter softened 
                1 cup sugar
                1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
                 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
                1/2 cup orange juice
                2 eggs
                1 cup coarsely chopped fresh cranberries
                1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds




Mix flour, baking powder,Ground Ginger,baking soda,salt and ground nutmeg in large bowl. Beat butter, sugar,and pure vanilla Extract in large bowl with electric mixture on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add orange peel,orange juice and eggs.Mix well. Gradually add orange mixture to dry ingredients. Mixing well just until moistened. Gently stir in cranberries  and almonds. Divide batter evenly among 3 greased pans.Bake in preheated 350F oven 35 mins or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 mins. Remove from pans cool completely 








To use dried cranberries Cover 1 cup dried cranberries with 2 cups boiling water. Let stand 15 mins drain before adding to batter thats what i had to do because it was not season for fresh ones

Blueberry Muffins





You need: 
2 cups flour
2/3 cups plus 2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2  teaspoon baking powder 
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon grated orange peel 
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup blueberries 
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon



Mix flour,2/3 cup sugar,baking powder,baking soda,and salt in large bowl.Mix sour cream,milk,oil,egg,orange peel and pure vanilla extract(batter will be thick and slightly lumpy) gently stir in blueberries.

Spoon batter into 12 lightly greased or or paper  lined muffins cups,filling each cup 3/4 full. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle over muffin

Bake in preheated  400F oven 20 to 25 min or until toothpick inserted into muffins comes out clean.Serve warm with honey butter if desired.

Makes 12 muffins(or do what i did and make mini muffins)

Cinnamon Pancakes with spiced syrup



This recipe is fast and easy to make enjoy.






you need:


. 2 cups pancake mix
.1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
.2 eggs beaten 
.1 cup milk
.2 tablespoons vegetable oil
.1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 


MAKES 4 SERVINGS


Stir pancake mix and ground cinnamon in a large bowl until well blended. Stir in eggs milk,oil and pure vanilla extract just until blended.


Pour 1/4 cup batter pancakes onto preheated lightly greased griddle or skillet. Cook 1 to 2 min per side or until golden brown, turning when pancakes begin to bubble.Serve pancakes with spiced syrup.




SPICED SYRUP:


Mix 1 cup pancake syrup, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon in microwavable measuring cup or bowl. Microwave on high 1 to 2 mins stiring once
